Doctor for a Day!

We had a great time at Doctor for a day.  Thank you to the Uw snma and all the volunteers from different areas of medicine who made this event possible.  Also thank you to africatown for hosting us and teaching us about our community's history.  dr danielson shared some amazing wisdom as the keynote speaker.  he reminded us that it is our job to carry with us what we *can* do.  this world is filled with plenty of negativity but it is not our job to concern ourselves with that.  we can know ourselves and our strengths and carry that into the world.  he closed with this inspiring quote from arundhati roy:

“Another world is not only possible, she is on her way. On a quiet day, I can hear her breathing.”
